Who We Are

It is the goal of Let's Climb Higher to provide educators, students, and families with additional support when it comes to the educational process. Over the course of our 20-year experience in K-12 education, higher education, athletics, special education support, projects-based learning, education equity and college counseling, we are dedicated to using our expertise to deliver results.

The Let's Climb Higher team will provide complete professional development opportunities in person or online, through workshops, or individual services in all areas of education that will be tailored to meet the individual needs of our clients. We concentrate on the following areas: academics of students, school climate, out-of-school services, teacher coaching, special education services, college selection, project-based instruction, and working with athletes.

Melissa Lawson is the founder of the organization and has been a Secondary School Counselor and educator for the School District of Philadelphia for the past twenty years. In addition to being a school counselor, Melissa has been involved in athletics for 19 years and also holds a PK-12 Principal certification. She currently conducts professional developments around various educational topics for a number of organizations. 

As a service provider, Let's Climb Higher believes that every organization or individual is unique and has different needs, even within the same academic setting. Our providers will work one-on-one with your organization throughout the entire process in order to create a deliverable that meets the needs of your organization. They can deliver the highest quality services in person or virtually.
